TERMS AND CONDITIONS
These terms and conditions explain how you can use your Community Discount Card and how the Community Discount Card scheme works.
- 1. To participate in the Community Discount Card scheme, you need to have a Personal Account with Openet PLC linked to your Community Discount Card. Subject to these terms and conditions; all applicants can apply for a Community Discount Card.
- 2. Applicants must be aged 16 years or over Openet Plc reserves the right to decline issue, withdraw the Community Discount Card or alter its conditions (including the discount value) at any time, or terminate the Community Discount Card without notice.
- 3. The Community Discount Cards remain the property of Openet Plc and can only be used for the Community Discount Card programme when making purchases through participating stores in the UK, online at www.everythingplus.co.uk, unless Openet Plc issues instructions to the contrary.
- 4. To qualify for your reclaimable discounts your Community Discount Card; must be presented to the cashier at the time of purchase and a company stamped receipt obtained. For online purchases the Community Discount Card number must be entered correctly onto the website transaction page. Incorrect or invalid card numbers will not qualify. Transactions made without the card cannot be recorded and therefore cannot count towards your discounts.
- 5. Each participating store receipt above £5 has a redemption value and the level of discount is calculated on the total value of purchase(s) collected at the time of statement production (subject to clauses 1- 8). (each point has a value of 10p)
- 6. The ability to earn discounts using your Community Discount Card will be limited to the first £500 on each transaction made.
- 7. The card cannot be used with discount vouchers or when making purchases at concessions within participating stores. Assembly, delivery and Installation services are also excluded from the scheme.
- 8. Employees of participating stores may not combine discounts and claiming their staff discount on the same purchase(s).
- 9.The first Community Discount Card statement of a customer's will be posted at the time of the next routine statement issue, providing that £25 or more has been invested in the Community Discount Card Personal Account.
- 10. Community Discount Card statements are issued on a quarterly basis on condition that a full, up to date, UK address with postcode is provided for mailing purposes. Transactions made after your statement date will be added to your future statement.
- 11. If you do not wish to spend the full amount of your Discount Voucher you must exchange it for vouchers of smaller denominations at Openet Plc. Change cannot be given for Discount Vouchers.
- 12. If you believe you are entitled to Community Discount Card Vouchers but not received them, you must notify us by the end of your personal year by calling our helpline on 0800 567 7011. If you do not contact us you will lose your entitlement to these vouchers. If you are unsure of your personal year end date our helpline will be able to advise you. Calls are charged at a local rate and may be monitored and/or recorded for staff training purposes.
- 13. Investing on a regular basis to your Community Discount Card “Personal Account” maximise your discounts and qualify you for interest free credit terms and facilities.
- 14. Discount vouchers must be redeemed within the printed expiry date and cannot be reissued after the voucher has expired.
Use of your personal information
Openet Plc is a company incorporated in England.
("Community Discount Card") The Community Discount Card. ("we” us") also includes Openet Plc, EverythingPlus limited, The-Next Level and their associated companies from time to time. A full list of the companies comprising the Community Discount Card programme is available upon request or can be obtained from our website www.com-card.co.uk. We will use your personal information so that we can fulfil our agreement with you. This includes administering any accounts, processing and obtaining payment, preventing or detecting fraud, or running any prize draws or competitions you may enter. In so doing we will provide your personal Information to our employees and agents, for such purposes.
We may also give information about you to other carefully selected companies and organisations so they can run prize draws or competitions, or pass your details to our agents and employees to do any of the above things for us. In addition, we can hand over Information about you to anyone to whom we transfer our rights and duties under our agreement with you or If we have a duty to do so and the law allows us to do it. Your details may also be used to analyse your shopping preferences as part of our marketing programme. This might help us to automatically select and tailor products, services or special discounts we think you'll be interested to hear about. We may use these details and any updated contact details you give us, to contact by mail, telephone, e-mail, text message or otherwise, to let you know about these offers - some of which may come from respected companies and organisations outside the Group. We may also give your contact details and preferences to other carefully selected companies or organisations to use in the same way for their marketing.
If you do not wish to receive these kinds of offers and information please refer to the "Important Data Protection for Community Discount Card" section of the application form to confirm your preference. We may also monitor or record your telephone conversations to ensure consistent service levels, to prevent or detected fraud, and for training and regulatory purposes. In carrying out any of the activities specified in this section, we may transfer data to reputable companies outside the European Economic Area. We take steps to ensure that your information will be afforded the same level of protection as that required of us under applicable UK data protection legislation. In the event that Openet Plc is sold or integrated with another business, your details may be disclosed to our advisers and any prospective purchasers' advisers and will be passed onto the new owners of the business for them group companies to use in the same ways.
You have a right to access the personal information we hold about you. You will need to request this in writing from the Data Protection Compliance Officer, 52 High Street Harlesden London NW10 4LS. You will also need to pay a fee before we send you the information we hold about you. If any of your details are incorrect, please let us know and we will correct them. Such requests and any other queries about our privacy policy should be directed to the Data Protection Compliance Officer.
